"I booked this hotel for my 10 year old and husband. They had nothing but great things to say about it! Especially my son. He loved the location and how he didn’t have to do too much walking everywhere. From the manga museum, to Irichan being less than 5 min away. We will definitely book again when we come back as a whole family!!"

"Great stay overall. The hotel was very clean, smelled fresh, and everything felt well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. It’s a non-smoking property, which made a big difference. The rooms are on the smaller side, but still comfortable. Location was super convenient with easy walking distance to shops, 7/11s, and everything you’d need. Would definitely stay here again."

"Everything was just perfect! Excellent location, great staff who helped with everything needed. Very high service and the food is perfect. In addition to breakfast, we ate twice at the 7 embers restaurant and every dish was very tasty, beautifully presented."

"The property was in a great location. It was an easy walk to markets, shops and restaurants. The room was small with a giant king size bed (I could have done with a queen and gave more room to walk around. The room itself was okay, nothing great but served it's purpose. The hotel also seemed very dark. The entrance to the lobby was dark as was the hallways to the room. Next time I would spend a bit more money for a bigger room."

"The front dest staff was very courteous and professional. He suggested room upgrade when we checked in and showed the reserved room and the new room which we liked his suggested room better. Even though we paid for this room upgrade, we liked this upgraded room so we really appreciated. Location of this hotel is excellent and very convenient to go to tourist site, department stores, famous street market and also close to the Kyoto station."

"Very clean room. Nicely appointed with modern style. Mattresses were much too soft for my liking and actually slid around the bed. Great water pressure for shower. Complimentary beverages were great. Laundry is available on site but because of the combo washer/dryer design, clothes just didn’t come out dry. Nice exercise room with high end equipment."

"Hot breakfast was cold but nearby places good. Hotel was great except there was only one English Channel on the tv which was the BBC. Lovely location for shopping and local restaurants."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was a good size - ideal for not feeling cramped on top of each other, and just felt a tad more luxurious than the other two hotels we stayed in during our Japan holiday. This hotel is on the main street but you couldn't hear much noise from floor 5. The staff were really helpful and friendly - check-in was easy, so was check-out. We didn't have to pay a separate bill upon arrival for visitor tax despite being from the UK. Luggage forwarding you need to fill the form in a day earlier than you might expect as they need to do some checks on the phone and if you are in a rush it could delay you. Only negative was the TV wouldn't remember us so each time we watched youtube we had to sign in - minor inconvenience. Within walking distance of a few stations, convenience store 2 shops up. Got some breakfast bars for skipping a day service for the room which was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend."
