"We were so impressed with every exceptional detail of the service, room, and amenities of this hotel. We were greeted so warmly when we arrived and provided with such helpful advice to enjoy every moment of our very short stay in Barcelona. Each time we returned to the hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Everything was extremely clean, new and exceptionally well cared for. We are grateful for the excellent service, and we are already planning to return for another trip there very soon!"

"The hotel is old but well located with all the amenities needed within walk distance. Good transport connections too. The air conditioning stopped working in my room but the staff were very helpful and I was promptly moved to another. The breakfast was very basic but filling. The location is main selling point, right in the heart of La Rambla."

"The hotel is very nice! The room was spacious & the bathroom was great. The windows have electric shutters type covering so you can black out all the light if you wanted to. The only drawback that we experienced was that the AC in the room rarely went below 71.6 degrees. We would leave the shutter closed all day while we were out and the AC would go down only to 71. Once you take a shower and are in the room for 10 minutes, that’s it, back up to 71.6 or even 72. The hotel lobby was also hot. It just literally felt like there was no AC running. Coming in from the outside you expect or hope to be somewhat refreshed but it was not cool. It took me 30 minutes to stop sweating and even after, it was still “room temperature” We were only here for 3 nights but if it would have been longer, I think it would have been a problem. Other than that it was great. The rooftop pool & terrace were awesome. Overall I would recommend just warn about the air."
