This hotel is very well located close to the malecon and great restaurants. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The rooftop pool and bar area is a highlight.

our family has stayed here 3 times. Great location,staff is excellent. Lacking this time on common sense stuff such as enough towels in the bathroom upon arrival, replacing the shampoo each day and the towels after cleaning the room. Also, beware the mini fridges are turned off so we lost some food we brought home from dinner one night. Overall though great place.

We had a great time at Hotel Catedral! The rooms were well insulated and quiet. We had a first floor room that opened directly on the courtyard and rarely heard anyone else around. We loved the space for its private mini patio as well. The staff were all very nice and we enjoyed the breakfasts and hanging at the pool (from which you can see wedding parties coming and going from the next door cathedral). It was a great location to explore La Paz and we always felt safe in the neighborhood. Will stay again.

The breakfast inclusion was a nice plus. The pool was bigger than first envisioned and lovely especially early in the morning. The top floor bar and terrace was very pleasant in the cooler evening.

What I really like about this property is that it is right in town, but far enough from Malecon that quiet at night but close to action of you want it! Also close to some of best restaurants in La Paz!

My mother, toddler and I spent one night in this beautiful hotel in April 2024. Wow! What a beautiful hotel. The room was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the property was well maintained. The courtyard for dining is so pretty and the breakfast buffet options were awesome! Lots of different food items to choose from. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. What a memorable stay. The front staff speak good English, and we’re happy to provide a map with directions to a fantastic restaurant within walking distance. Even the cleaning lady in the lobby and maintenance man were smiling and friendly. People say Canadians are friendly, but we’ve got nothing on Mexicans! Stay here. It’s awesome

We really enjoyed our stay here for our family vacation. The hotel is beautiful, clean and walkable to the malecón (beach boardwalk) and numerous restaurants. The rooftop pool and bar have a beautiful view of the cathedral next door, the plaza and you get a glimpse of the ocean.

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. The courtyard in the middle is beautiful. The rooftop pool, bar and patio have a great view of the cathedral next door and the town plaza. Walkable to the malecón where you can catch numerous tours and eat at various restaurants.

So so noisy! I was given a main floor room, which was right beside the courtyard area and I could hear everything. From night meetings to the early buffet breakfast, as well a moving furniture upstairs, it was terrible. The mattress felt like a blow up mattress and the bedding was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were tiny and hard. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep. I paid for 2 nights and checked out one night early, with no refund or even concern from the employee or manager, and found another place.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Very walkable to Malecón and lots of restaurants. No noise issues. Pool area nicely done on rooftop. Great beer prices at the bar. Breakfast offerings carried and were good. Wish towels were softer and more concierger information, we inquired about kayaking tours. After several calls... only two companies and seems they only offered overnight camping options on Isla Espiritu. Hope to do it next time.
