"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."

"Although the hotel is outdated, the hotel room is clean, spacious, has good size bathroom, and comfortable bed. We slept like a baby. The oceanfront view was spot on. Friendly staff. The property is walking distance to the harbor, Cannery Row, to shops, restaurants, and easy access to freeway. We will come back Monterey Bay Inn. Thanks for the great weekend."

"Was very close to DT Monterey and the aquarium and the warf. The restaurant it uses is decent . Could use a small elevator to get up to second floor with luggage and pregnant wife but was ok"

"The property was extremely charming and historic, the room had all the amenities we needed and very comfortable, clean furniture. There was a lovely claw foot bathtub, as well as a shower (though the shower did not have any way to ensure privacy from others in the same room). "We enjoyed our stay at the Munras Inn for a weekend getaway. Loved the spacious Deluxe King Room with the vaulted ceiling & the cozy fireplace. There was a bit of an issue with the A/C... But overall the room & accommodations were great,would definitely book again in the future."

"I called ahead about arriving early and was told between 1-1:30 would work. We arrived at 1 and the lobby was empty. No one showed for about 30 minutes. Room was not ready so we waited another 45 minutes before it was ready. Other than that the room was large, clean, and updated. Their cancellation policy is non existent so make sure before you book"
