"We stopped here on a whim as we were driving down the coast and couldn't have been more pleased. It is a beautiful property and well situated for exploration of Monterey and the surrounding area, both on foot and by car.
The staff was absolutely lovey and the evening happy hour and breakfast were first class. We will definitely stay again!"

"The "Continental breakfast" was actually a full breakfast buffet and very tasty! Comfortable spacious rooms. Very helpful staff at the front desk. Generous parking policy -- we could've stayed until 5 p.m. on the day we checked out!"

"This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited."
