"The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

"We really loved our two night stay at the inn. The innkeepers were super welcoming and attentive. The original (quirky?) decor was both personal and a welcome relief from boring corporate chain hotels or stuffy “colonial” inns.
