"The perfect stop over on a long drive south. I arrived very late and the charming proprietor was ready with a friendly greeting to give me a clean, hospitable, safe place to rest. The room was fresh, well-taken care of, and newly renovated. I was able to park just outside my room so bringing bags inside was an easy accomplishment. The hotel was quiet and an easy place to get a good night’s rest. "

"Very clean and safe area to stay. My only complaint is the bottle of hair conditioner was empty. House keeping needs to make sure this is kept up. Other than that, we loved everything about this place "

"Boats, buses and fire trucks taking up the lot when we arrived was alarming. Then our first room was unprepared. Only one elevator, so that was fun carrying all of our stuff back to the lobby. Chemical smell upon opening the door. Cleaning supplies? Pictures make it look like it’s on the lake. It’s not really. Birds everywhere on the outside, so bird poo on the windows. Coffee maker didn’t cooperate well, but went downstairs for coffee. That worked out. "

"Old coffee filters left in coffee pots of both rooms we rented. Shampoo had be used in one of the rooms. No coffee the next morning in breakfast area. Poor selection of breakfast glad McDonald's is across the parking lot. Left my granddaughters stroller and had to argue with the owner to get it back after we told her the rooms we stayed in. "

"So when we arrived a couple was complaining to the front desk about bed bugs which was alarming. We fully inspected our room and seen no evidence of any in our room. However we did see a large brown gross stain on the night stand floor and part of the lower bed. We just ignored it. The complementary drinks we skipped on because it wasn’t a real bar just a little mixing desk I guess. Breakfast had no bacon which was disappointing. Dinner was some taco meal I ended up going out it didn’t look...

"Only drawback was no restaurant/bar. Not far down the road though. However, I was shocked how wonderful it was. Quiet as can be, never seen a room so clean and spacious including an open Bible on the nightstand, owner is super nice, easy to check-in as there’s no staff there and you just grab a key with your name on it out of a box, RV park, too. Has an 18 hole small golf course. TV even allows you to use Netflix, You Tube, Prime, if you have membership. Beds were super comfortable. It...

"Getting to the room was very difficult. I was staying for an early morning flight. I had to park in a distant parking lot and carry my luggage to the hotel (a good 150yards). Wake up call was incorrect on time. The only good thing was that the hotel is in the actual airport terminal."

"Staff is always very helpful. Our rooms have always been clean. We've stayed here several times because they are so close to our family, always clean and inexpensive. The only thing I'd warn people of -- and the hotel can't fix it - is the noise from the bar across the parking lot and occasionally from the highway (231). "

"I stay for the convienence to friends and have stayed at this Red Roof several times. Pet friendly. Place is clean and well lit. Only downside is that they need to keep up with maintence. I found the toilet seat very worn and missing mount pad. AC units do not seem to remove humidity from the room and settings would not accept what was put in. "
