"I was in Carvoeiro for one night and I enjoyed my stay at O Castelo Guest House. The guest house was super clean, nice size bedroom with everything you would need, every staff I met was super friendly and ready to assist me with anything I needed. The location was also great, balcony overlooked the beach and a few minutes walk to Carvoeiro beach and the boardwalk leading to Algar Seco. O Castello is the only place I’m staying if I visit again and would 100% recommend. "

"This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. "The room and bathroom were excellent and the brkfst was perfect. The air/heat was working well. Everyone was very helpful and ready to offer more. The last morning we were there they laid out an early breakfast even though I think we were the only ones there and were leaving before breakfast would normally have begun. My husband and I would definitely recommend Villa Rio Guest House to friends. "

"Overall, my stay was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was spacious with a large, clean bathroom. Good value for money. However, the bed sheets weren’t changed during my stay despite what was mentioned in the description, and there was no toaster or iron. The window couldn’t be opened, so the room felt a bit dark in the mornings. Apart from these small issues, everything else was fine and comfortable."
