Absolutely beautiful and magical from beginning to end. The food was amazing, pool and views were breath taking. Staff was so lovely and we walked to restaurants. We will recommend this to anyone going to Southern Portugal.

View from hotel pool area and restaurant is beautiful but it is over priced based on service, amenities, room decor and we were disappointed overall. Felipe was a great server for our dinner in the restaurant. Highlight. No service for drinks around pool area and the pool is not heated. Room decor and layout is fine, no iron/board in room and breakfast omelette was served with zero toppings. Everything was fine - but for the price, I had higher expectations overall. Location is a bit too far from town (35 minute walk) and it’s not the type of hotel where we felt we wanted to spend our time at.

We had a good stay at this hotel. I have 3 reservations: 1) The cooked breakfast options were quite limited and the portions small. 2) The hotel is a long way from other things, for example its about a 30 minute walk into Lagos old town, and the nearest beach is quite limited. 3) We had problems watching TV for our whole stay, with the progress spinner popping up regularly making it necessary to go back and reselect the channel. To the hotel's credit they looked at the problem every time we raised it (every day) but didn't really mange to sort it out completely.

Our seaside stay in the Algarve was absolutely breathtaking, made perfect by a flawless balance of luxury and warm hospitality. The property itself is stunning. Upgrading to a higher end room was worth every penny. Our private balcony offered jaw dropping, panoramic views of the coastal cliffs, stretching all the way to the distant point of Sagres before the shoreline turns north. The hotel location was convenient for exploring the region. It served as a perfect base for easy day drives to hike the spectacular Seven Hanging Valleys trail, explore the series of small beaches with hidden caves along the Ponta da Piedade, and taking guided kayak tours through Benagil’s caves. It was also a brief uber trip to the walled city of Lagos and its selection of bars and restaurants. The on site amenities were equally impressive. The beautiful grounds feature a pristine pool area. A major bonus was having free use of the sauna and steam room after an active day, without purchasing additional spa treatments. Additionally, each morning kicked off with an excellent, included breakfast from the deck overlooking the sea and sandstone cliffs. Between the cliff top vistas, convenient location, and top tier amenities, this hotel offers an unmatched Algarve getaway.

An excellent boutique hotel experience - staff were helpful and friendly, onsite restaurant was great for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Amazing views and a great location close enough to town to be convenient but out of the crowds.

We had a fantastic time. Staff were very attentive and helpful, breakfasts were great with a big range of options (including vegan which was a big reason for us picking the hotel). We also ate dinner in the restaurant twice and the quality was brilliant. The room itself was lovely with a stunning sea view and veranda - location wise we were about a 25 minute walk away from Old Town which was perfect for us as the hotel felt very peaceful and tucked away. We took advantage of the sauna and steam room which was like having our own private spa, and both got massages which were the best we’ve had. Final bit of praise for the lovely Daniel who worked in the bar and kept coming up with delicious cocktails for us to try. We will definitely be back.
