"The room we had didn’t have a working phone or safe. There was mold in the bathroom and the shower wouldn’t drain properly. The food was excellent and the entertainment stafff was excellent. They had activities all day and a nice show at night. They were lovely. The pool was right beside the beach. Such a beautiful view. Love the ocean."

"Room is infested with bed bugs. We didn't even realized, until we left. First couple of days we had few bites. Yesterday night were covered with bites all over, we were thinking it was mosquitoes, then suddenly we realized that these could be bed bugs bites, looked up to confirm, sure enough, bug bites all over. Staff members were good but terrible room, which is the most important thing. We never experienced bug bites before otherwise we have gotten out of there right away. It was raining so thought it's the muquitos. So the owner should get rid of bed and furniture ASAP."

"I stayed at Velero Beach Resort and had a very disappointing experience from the moment I entered my room. Right after checking in, I used the toilet and discovered it was broken. The toilet kept flushing, but the flush mechanism got stuck and caused water to overflow onto the bathroom floor and into the bedroom area. This was completely unacceptable for a resort hotel. The flooding right after check-in made the start of my stay very uncomfortable. However, I would like to mention that Wilbert was very helpful during the situation. He quickly sent two employees to help clean up the mess and also arranged a new room for me, which I appreciated. I expected much better maintenance and quality control from this hotel."

The host went above and beyond to make every part of our trip special, and the service throughout our stay was truly exceptional. The food was incredible — fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Every meal felt like a unique experience. The sustainable architecture of the bubbles and the entire property is stunning. Everything blends so naturally into the landscape while still feeling luxurious, peaceful, and magical. A special thank you to the receptionist, who gave us the best recommendations for trips, hidden spots, restaurants, and reliable car services. Their local tips made our experience even better and helped us discover places we never would have found on our own. This place is something truly special — relaxing, inspiring, and unforgettable.
