"The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

"This was an amazing place with remarkable people. Hop was extremely friendly and helpful. And Marie made the most incredible breakfast. They made us feel like we were part of the family. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. He gave us a tour and let us feed and pet the horses, who I now love! And the pool and hot tub were absolutely wonderful! I can’t say enough about how much I love Saddleview! I would strongly recommend this place to anyone traveling in Pennsylvania. It is a must see. I...

"The stay was good, the key system they have is old and needs to be upgraded. Everytime we left our room and came back the keys needed to be reset. We rebted multiple rooms with elderly people and kept having to go to front desk and have keys regenerated. (Keys were not near phones or magnetic cases ) It was very frustrating as we were on the third floor. Two night stay i think both room keys had to be reset 6 or 7 times Both keys. I expected more from Marriott."

"Room was clean. It is an older property so keep this in mind. The lighting in the bed area didn’t work when we checked in. It was kind of bazaar, but when we found the plug in for the bedside lamps it was loose. After pushing it back in all of the lighting worked in the area except the reading lamps. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, picture a limp noodle. If you are picky about your shampoo & conditioner bring your own, it seems like standard hotel stuff. If you’ve stayed in...

"I wish i give them about 100 negative starts this place is disgustingly, funky smell once you enter the lobby than the room had a worst smell ended up leaving the place my toddler her self told me it smell funny just stay away feom this place . "

"The staff is amazing very helpful and even though the pool was down for maintenance the front desk kindly asked if we would like to use their sister Marriot down the street where we were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool- very good service would definitely go again."

"Good place to stay for the money. Needs some upkeep in the room. Floor was no real clean and we had to clean up some spots. Great kitchen! Bathroom had some Minor issue and water flow was very slow. Good for the price."

"Breakfast was always fresh, the bed, sheets and blankets were very comfortable, linens were very clean, The staff was friendly and very easy to talk to and I enjoyed how quiet it was when I chose to go to sleep for the night. Noticed that your overhead roof that you can pull cars underneath.... Only about half the recessed lights were working and some were constantly blinking. I'm not complaining about this, just wanted to bring it to your attention (insert smiley face emoji)"
