"This property is very cute and the staff were super accommodating. The downsides though are that there is no access to the docks directly outside the rooms which I found quite sad, there is a small beach for water access which is convenient it’s just not very convenient if you rent kayaks and have to lug them all the way over. Another downside is not every room has a kitchen which my husband and I didn’t realize before booking, so we made due with the microwave and toaster. When we first arrived in the room we were met with a half used roll of toilet paper and maybe two towels, thankfully when I spoke to the lodge they provided plenty of extra toilet paper and towels for our 3 week stay. It’s definitely a cute lodge to spend some time at, our room was just a bit underwhelming when we first arrived but we ended up having a nice time in the area checking out different festivals and visiting traverse city."
