"Mold in the shower, room heat/ac constantly blew some sort of dust and debris into the air. Only two smallish bath towels for two people - minimal at best. Breakfast was also sparse and I hope you like a parcooked egg thing that didn’t qualify for the omelet name it was given. That’s the best way to state the condition of the room and property - minimal at best. Disappointing for a Hampton Inn. "

"The room was clean, bed was very hard and creeky. The refrigerator froze our drinks and food we placed into it and there was not a microwave in the room to heat up food we bought. Our room was next to the elevator so we could hear everyone going up and down as well as every conversation had down the hall.We were there for a Navy graduation and it was very close to the Naval base. "The price was fair, but the location isn’t very convenient for getting into Chicago—especially in March weather. We ended up spending a lot on Ubers. Breakfast was great, and the staff there were very kind and attentive. The gym is cramped and not well maintained—dirty mats, only two treadmills, and one was unplugged (though it worked once plugged in). We didn’t try the pool. Overall, the stay was fine until the end. "It’s in the condition you’d expect for the nightly cost, but needs a lot of updates. Heat has a funky smell and a lot of things in the room are just really old. You get what you pay for!"

"The room was awesome. Much larger than expected. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were great. The only complaint I have is the carpet in the hallway on the 2nd floor was bunching up in several areas creating a potential tripping hazard. "
