"Everything was just as pictured. Food was really good but pricey as expected for a hotel like this. There is not much around the hotel but it felt safe and staff were very helfpul."

"Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! "I had such a wonderful stay and experience at this cozy little place. It was close to the water taxi, small street vendors and great restaurants. Debra and staff went above and beyond. "Beautiful hotel"

"Good for the price. But keep in mind this is a lower end place to stay. A bit strange in that you go up to 4th floor to check in. It’s more like a room rental than a hotel. We felt fairly safe but wouldn’t walk around at night. Onsite parking was important for us. "

"The rooms are small and minimalist but that's OK as they get everything else right. The rooms were spotless, the property was beautifully kept and the price of booking was affordable. The attached restaurant had excellent and affordable food, in fact we noticed that many of its patrons were locals. The location being 20 minutes from the airport was a nice added bonus. "

"Just not really worth it. Staff are great, breakfast is real good, even the owner is nice. But, super expensive for where and what it is. Pictures somehow make it all feel bigger even though they’re accurate. Neighborhood is bleak, and the few restaurants in the area happened to be closed all week for Easter."

"If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "
