This property is in such a great, quaint location. So much potential Staff was helpful Unfortunately it is in shambles and in desperate state of repair The furniture is mismatching and broken The door only closed if it was slammed (room #511) Stains in the shower floor and in the bathroom in general Really a shame

The bathroom ceiling was deteriorating to the point that it felt like it could collapse. The entire space was dingy, dark, and noticeably dirty. The toilet only flushed if you manually turned it on and off, otherwise it continuously ran. The room itself was extremely damp, leaving the floors—and even the carpet—wet to the touch. I can only hope the beds were at least clean.

The room was clean. The desk clerk was kind and helpful. It is a very basic accommodation with no frills for those of us who just want a clean and comfortable room that allows dogs. Perfect! I loved that charm of the little town, antique shops and Latino bakery all very satisfyling.

My room had used soap in the bathroom. I tried to call the front desk but the phone didn't work. Went to front desk, no one was there. So I went to every floor to find housekeeping and ask for new soap. The walls and the shower in my bathroom were not clean. Also the parking was a little confusing.

The advertisement on Expedia was not accurate. The property was not even near Lake Geneva. There was a 15-20 minute drive to the lakeshore despite the pictures on the website showing it on the lakeside. The rooms were not ready when we arrived, and there were stains everywhere on the furniture, walls, and doors. The bathrooms were not even stocked with appropriate toiletries, and the front desk clerk/manager were not friendly or open to have friendly conversation. The rooms also had a lingering smoke smell despite being non-smoking.

The entrance door on the 1st room we were given would barely open. We had to kick it open to be able to enter the room. And the bathroom was so small you had to stand sideways between the toilet & sink to close the door. The refrigerator did not work, so they gave us another room. This room seemed fine until a rainstorm, then the window leaked terribly. They gave us towels. The next morning they moved us to a different room on a different floor. That room was fine. Parking in the back is hard because of the bar on-site. There is no overnight parking on the street. Overall, the hotel shows wear & tear and needs upgrading. The staff did it's best but Wyndham needs to fix up this hotel.
