"This motel was surrounded by abandoned trailers and shacks a little scary ,The room was strait out of the 1950s very old and outdated but clean . The outlet in the bathroom smelled like fire if I plugged anything into it . We also came back after being at the lake and our door was unlocked and just pushed open room 2. When I called the hotel staff they were dismissive saying everything was fixed yet I hadn't even told them yet ,I called them notified them of the danger, I felt this motel could...

"Was clean & well kept. Not much in the way of amenities but has everything you need. If you're claustrophobic, select a different room (than 3), the shower it about the size of a phone booth (for anyone who knows what that is) and quite dark. The room was comfortable and decorated nicely. Check in & access was very convenient. Directly across the street from the river, beautiful. And there is a general/convenience store that is open late in walking distance, it has just about anything...

"Check in was horrible. Two of us had to go back into town, download WhatsApp just to leave a voice message and text to say we were here for the lady to be in her camper. Kind of silly to provide the instructions via text when there’s no cell service there. Outside of that, exactly what I expected. Limited light, bathroom house and shower house, river. Need to take an extra blanket though. Got chilly at night. "
