"My suite was very spacious and well designed, but I especially loved the surroundings. The grounds are beautiful and make an excellent place for a short walk. It also feels sheltered from the rest of the world--town is close, but it seems like you are far away in a pleasant little town."

"We stayed at the Showers Inn on June 15, 2026. We arrived late but they had a note how to access our room. The parking was adequate, always a concern at a B&B in a residential neighborhood. The room was pleasant and comfortable. In fact, we thought highly of the room accommodations. At breakfast the next morning was when our stay turned bad. We went to the main floor of the main building of the Inn. There wasn't any food to be had. Nor were there any employees to discuss the breakfast situation...

"Staff were amazing, funny, and very helpful. The pool was closed and the elevator was not working, but we were given the option of a first floor room which we declined because we are able to climb stairs and other were aren't able deserve first floor rooms. Our room was clean and we opted out to have maid service the first morning as we had plenty of towels, soap, cups, etc ..but they were right there to help when needed. Honestly very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was...

"Stayed there for my daughter’s IU orientation days. The location to IU campus is Great! The hotel is clean, elegant and well-cared for. The room decor was cute. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was very clean and provided shower necessities. Will stay again , for sure!!!"

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"The room was clean. Our room had the built in bunkbeds and that gave us decent privacy from our kids. But the bed rail for the top was so close to the ceiling it was a struggle to get in and out. Parking was great. Staff was wonderful. Not much else to the room. One very small tv and since the town closes down by 5:00-7:00 a tv would be nice since it was obviously a room for kids too."
