"Breakfast menu was standard for chain hotels (we thought the coffee was weak). The beds were comfortable and room size was also standard. Bathroom was a decent size with tub shower combo. Room temperature stayed as set. Two different staff experiences. Our check-in lady was rather curt but the night manager was excellent. "I had a very disappointing experience at Pearl on the Concho. The room was honestly disgusting. The bathtub wouldn’t drain, they had the A/C condensation line draining directly into the shower with a wet paper towel stuck on the end. It looked completely unprofessional and unsanitary. "Our room was clean and comfortable. Heat & cooling controls were easy to operate. Amenities were very good. It felt like an oasis with private parking right at our door and outdoor seating. Walking around the art center we were surrounded by unique art decor and creative and welcoming artists. The staff were friendly, attentive and recommended local places of interest. We highly recommend a stay here. "

"I checked out within an hour of checking in. The room was uninhabitable! The a/c front was broken in pieces, dirty and on the floor. The "guts" of the a/c were dirty. None of the lamps worked (above the bed, the lamp on the desk didn't even have a lightbulb in it). Towels were in tatters. I had stayed in this hotel several times, but this was my last visit. I lost $230 in the process, but I was not staying here again."
