"My room was a wonderful *cool* home while attending a conference nearby (in upper-90's weather!). I was gone from 9-9 each day, but it was so refreshing to start the day with a shower with great water pressure to invigorate me, and to nestle into a comfortable bed at night with the temperature regulated for comfort. "This is my fourth stay at the Grand Hotel. I appreciate it for so many things such as clean rooms, friendly staff, and great location. My only gripe is the rooms are so large, if you get a room at the end of the hall, expect a bit longer walk to get to the lobby. This will not deter me from staying there in the future !!!"

"Breakfast was good. The lady in the mornings is very sweet and helpful. Excellent location. The key card stopped working an hour before check-out, so I got distracted trying to get a new one. I left my new box fan near the door of my room and didn't receive my deposit back because of it. Stayed 8 nights."

"Honest review — The front desk staff was friendly. My room was clean. The location was excellent, close to town and the freeway. The third level is the best; however, on the second and first levels, you can hear all the footsteps from guests above, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I might have just had a noisy guest above me. It’s not worth the $257 a night, but it’s still a charming older hotel. "Horrible stay staff was ok room was ok but safety around the hotel was awful up all night from noise people yelling in the lobby. Had to book another hotel due to safety. Would never recommend due to safety reasons alone."

"Upon arrival we waited 10 minutes before a desk clerk showed up. Upon departure another desk clerk had her mouth full of food constantly. The mattress was so old that just placing your hand on it it would squeak loudly, so imagine what it sounded like laying on it. Just crazy."

"I have always stayed at the best western hotel / very nice place and staff- this was my first time in this one though and the only thing I wish they can change is the breakfast schedule for weekends- since I had things to do early in the weekends I noticed the restaurant wasn’t open yet - weekends they open at 7am - weekdays 6am . Since I left at 6:20am in the weekend I did not get to eat - besides that I do recommend this hotel in this town - very clean though"

Great bar and food, friendly helpful staff, great room and appointments, plus I happened to have an excellent balcony and east view, and nice bathroom. Everything was great, except I missed having a microwave. Would definitely stay again and told my local friends about it as well, for their other visiting guests."
