"very rundown property. Very dirty my sheets did not appear to be washed. There was hair on my pillowcase dirt and grime in the corners of the bathroom hair in the bathroom drain homeless people in the lobby fighting with the staff felt very unsafe and unclean will never stay here again."

"Basic hotel, nothing special. A little dirty in general in rooms and common areas. Lots of cigarette butts littered outside entrances . Best part for families with young kids -Nice sized pool and hot tub and breakfast included. I’ll stay at Aloft next time I’m in Anchorage."

"the rooms where very clean, but the area around is not so good, to go to the centre of Anchorage you will need about 45 minutes by walk one way, but it is a good point for activities, but it will be better, to rent a car, because bus station is not near and the bus don't go very often"

From the initial greeting of someone to help with our luggage through the rest of our 4-day stay, we were pleasantly surprised with the courtesy and thoughtfulness of the staff. The room was clean and well maintained, but it was the people who were the number one reason we'll go back. The blonde lady at the desk, the talented breakfast preparer, the room service attendants--all of them...

"We chose this Hotel as it was in a great location for the Ceremonial start of the Iditarod. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go for these events. Rooms were clean and up to date. Only thing thst we noriced we would have wanted was a microwave. One thing that did surprise us was the cost of parking in the area. $40/day to park your vehicle with the valet, and almost as much to park anywhere else in the area. "
