"I arrived in 90+ degree weather. Upon arrival they demanded additional " rates fees and deposites" they also informed me they have a zero animal policy after I inquire about emotional support animals. I was asked to leave the premises after that. Bear in mind I did not have my service animals with me at the time. Also, I believe he started swearing as well as he said mader and something undeciphrable. I am sure mader is mother. Terrible excuse for humans"

"this property is in a pretty sketchy neighborhood and the room itself is pretty bare bones. I booked this location thinking it was a Motel 6 and was sorely disappointed when we arrived. I think Motel 6 should reconsider being associated with this location. Having said that, the staff was very friendly and accommodating."

"There was a situation where I was followed by someone on a morning walk nearby the hotel and as soon as I entered the hotel and asked for them to help me, the 2 men at the front desk quickly helped by one going outside to find the man and one immediately calling the police. I felt safe and cared for and although Portland has some bad eggs roaming around I would stay here again because of how safe and cared for the staff made me feel. "Very easy to check in, the room was clean and cozy, the common areas were also very cozy and well-stocked with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. The restaurant next door was a bit loud at peak time of the evening, but that quieted down by the time we wanted to sleep and from then on it was nice and quiet. "I usually enjoy my stays at Hampton Inna, but this one was a bit of a letdown. While valet parking is nice, it was a little awkward for my needs on this occasion. The beds were also a little too soft (perhaps time for a new mattress?).
