"Last minute choice to stay in Burlington and I chose this Best Western. Great location for the 403 or QEW. Nice size room, clean and a comfortable bed. Easy walking to Scaddabush restaurant. Very close to the place I had to be at in the next morning. I would return."

"Stay away!! I did not feel safe, front desk staff made me feel so uncomfortable and unsafe! If I could give zero stars I would. I'm writing this review after midnight while at the hotel because I cannot sleep and feel threatened. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I paid for parking but still received a ticket during my stay. When I brought this to the front desk’s attention, I was told it was due to an alleged error on the vehicle information sheet I was asked to fill out — they claimed I wrote a “9” instead of a “4” for my license plate. I can understand how a “4” might have been misread as a “9,” but if there was any uncertainty, this could have easily been clarified. What was most concerning was how the situation was handled. Instead of a simple apology or effort to resolve the issue, the staff member I spoke with, Estaban, was dismissive and insisted I was at fault. I would have been completely satisfied if they had simply acknowledged the misunderstanding and apologized so we could move on. I later spoke with a manager, who advised that they were not directly responsible for parking tickets but said they would email the appropriate party and follow up with me. I did not receive any follow-up. Expedia also said they would follow up but never heard back for a refund. Staff members were rude and yelled at me I felt unsafe"

"We got to our room I believe it was 133 and walked in and was instantly hit with a smell of smoke and mold. I looked at the ceiling and there was black mold. I have an asthmatic son and knew we could not stay in the room. We went to the front desk who moved us a few doors down, still what appeared to be black spots on the ceiling however the smell was a bit more manageable, so we were able to stay. I would not return to this establishment."

"Lovely from the moment we pulled up, all staff were super helpful, the onsite cafe and restaurant are excellent. The area around the hotel is walkable and has lots of dining options. The views of the lake are stunning. A very nice stay!"

"The candlewood hallway smells bad and my shower didn’t get hot. The staff was helpful as much as they could. They were nice. I was refunded a little bit of funds for the inconvenience for the shower issue. Huge play area for the kids that’s was cool. The gym is also there and swimming pool. Other than those two issues I had a good time."

"The room was very run down. The bed was lousy. The power outlet was an electrical fire looking for an excuse to happen. I deeply regret all the poor life decisions that led to my choosing to stay there. But hey, on the plus side, there were only one or two visible ants, so...I guess there could have been more? Yay."
