"The Rugged Country Inn was a very comfortable place to stay and great value for the low price. The owners were super friendly, the room and bed were comfortable and it was very quiet. A great place to stay while travelling through."

"The room was really cramped and small for 2 queen beds. You could hear neighboring rooms on either side and above talking in regular tone and TV as if in the same room. Pool was closed early for no reason. The floors were dirty and stained."

"Don’t stay at this motel! Pay more and go to a better hotel. The bathroom was filthy. I took a picture to send it to my family…they couldn’t believe it. The 2 attendants at the front desk seemed to be high as a kite. The room smelled of stale smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. There appears to have been ZERO updates or improvements to the motel since it was built decades ago. We checked the bed for bedbugs, didn’t see any, so slept on the sheets, trying not to touch the blankets....
