"Everything about the property surpassed our expectations. The property was beautiful and clean and very well kept. The cuisine was delicious especially Kathleen's Kitchen which we dined at 3 nights. The Carriage House Pantry had the best cappuccino I've ever had and they offered a wide range of food options for breakfast and lunch. The spa was incredible and quiet with full use of the pool, hot tub and steam room/sauna. The staff was AMAZING too many to count but some of the memorable ones were,...

"Very dirty room and bathroom, stains on the carpet, dust on all the cupboard surfaces, makeup prints and marks in bathroom and on bathroom door, hair on a pillow. Just overall poor effort from housekeeping. Breakfast was poor, as a Coeliac the gluten free options were awful. Breakfast stations were not very clean and nothing was covered, there were lots of flies so food should have been covered."

"The hotel is under renovation so understand few things might not be perfect. The staff are lovely. The rooms are spacious beds are comfy and it quite too at night. The breakfast you need to order from menu than a buffet. Very nice fresh and tasty pastries too. Have juice bar & can order coffee. You will feel at home. No smoke smell etc. Too. Ample parking available. Overall a nice hotel to stay."

"Our entire stay was idyllic. The staff were all top notch professional hospitalitiers. They were knowledgeable about the area, quick to help with every step of the stay. Oliver and Sophie had solutions to every question or need. Iryna and Tina were some of the best waitstaff for dinner and tea service. The spa was a lovely oasis and garden of eden boxed up together. "This is our second time at this establishment. Very clean and up-to-date cottage. The shower was wonderful and the bed, comfortable. Very quiet area on a working farm with cows & sheep."

"Rooms, lodges and restaurants outstanding. Food was wonderful. Our server at the Barton Grill was brilliant! This is a 5 star property and overall lived up to that. We had an issue with vouchers that were purchased for us as a gift. One staff at the golf course was somewhat...aloft...ok, curt but rest of staff and hotel staff were great. I do feel were somewhat shorted on the vouchers and left a sour taste."

"We rented a house attached to the resort and it was fabulous. It slept 9 and the rooms all had bathrooms attached. Kitchen, laundry, living room and a small backyard for the toddler. We had full access to the hotel's facilities and used the pool a lot. It was great. No complaints . The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I would book this again and not hesitate "
