This stay completely ruined our trip. From the moment we arrived, everything was disorganized. The parking was locked, there were no signs or staff, and reception was empty. We found a staff member in the restaurant after ~20 minutes. Check-in took about 30 minutes, and only at the end we were told it starts at 3:00 PM (it was 2:30 PM). This could have been said immediately. The room had serious issues: • windows don’t lock • the safe doesn’t work (no lock) • TV not properly installed • strong chemical smell • poor cleanliness (dead mosquito, wet toilet seat) We asked to fix the windows, but were told none of the rooms have locking windows — this is considered “normal.” The safe issue was “solved” by giving us a separate lock with a ~$200 penalty if lost. Safety is clearly not a priority. Staff kept saying “nothing happens here,” which is not acceptable. At one point our car was blocked. I went to the restaurant (no one at reception), but the music was extremely loud. Even after asking to lower it, I still had to raise my voice to communicate, which was taken negatively. Staff response was unprofessional. The owner interrupted, didn’t listen, and suggested we take a refund and leave instead of fixing anything. We stayed only because it was Semana Santa and no alternatives were available. The only positive was the restaurant — good food, especially mangú. Conclusion: Does not meet basic standards of safety, organization, or service. Not recommended.

Great beach access. The lower cost rooms are basic. In general, it does not seem like customer service is a high priority anywhere in DR.

We initially booked a larger room, but due to an issue with that room, we were kindly moved to another room with a much better view. We appreciated this gesture. And they welcomed us with a welcome cocktail which tasted amazingly delicious👌 The hotel’s location is beautiful, and the room itself was very comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel owner Sol speaks English and was very helpful; however, unfortunately, none of the other staff members speak English. Despite this being a touristic area, we felt that the staff were hesitant to communicate with us, even when we tried to speak Spanish. They seemed to avoid interaction unless the owner was present, which made communication a bit challenging at times. The hotel also has its own restaurant next door, and it is possible to order food and drinks to the room. However, the service is extremely slow. We would recommend ordering food well before you actually feel hungry. Finally, at check-out, we had large backpacks. The hotel owner told us that we could ask the reception for help. However, when we did so, despite several staff members being around, we were told that no one was available to assist us at that moment. Overall, the hotel has great potential thanks to its location and rooms, but improvements in staff communication, service speed, and guest assistance would significantly improve the experience.

Poor service

My reservation was for 5 days my first day was so terrible because the bed was very poor no hot water I was crazy the next day I spoke to the owner in she transfer me for 1 floor better bed but no hot water any time always something is going to be reaped never the day before my last day. They never communicate to me that if they take the power out for almost 5 hours I supposed to be on the dinner at 7 PM. I end up taking a shower with a water they provide me a gallon the owner she’s good the lady who work at the front desk she doesn’t care nothing she’s being more time talking with all the people and being her phone. Nothing else you told her something and she said OK nothing else it was really bad the honest she tried because she’s a very simple person but she try figure out problem and repair the problem but the end nothing was better. I take a shower I was sick and I request hot water several time my star is 2 The reason why I rented there because when you go see the front you can see the beach it’s nice, but the service and the communication is really bad. The bed is not very comfortable. You can feeling all the matter in your back.

Lovely Hotel and beautiful beach is just across the street. My room was spacious and clean. I had the Continental Breakfast, it was very good and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. I’ll definitely return

Great location / beach front and nice pool. Beware of the rooms at the back of the property. The room had mosquitos, missing tiles on the shower, toilet with stains & shower with rust... The property is nice but ensure the room details before booking. Some have Ac some not. My booking had breakfast during the booking; which they did not honor.
