"Nice stay in a room that was probably a mew before. Simple glazing for the windows. Did not bother us as we were is September."

"Perfect stay once again! Such a gorgeous country pub, rooms are lovely, staff are great and the food and drink was top notch! Will be back again soon!"

"Very nice downstairs room, including a very cool ceiling and a cozy wonderful warm atmosphere. The room was smaller than we expected, including the toilet, where it was hard to maneuver between the toilet and the sink. However, we managed just fine and we thought it was very good value for the price. Breakfast was wonderful!"

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The room and hotel area was dated and rough round the edges but clean. My bed had a dent down the centre so prominent it felt like I was sleeping in a bowl. Over all, for the location it was good value for money."

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Continental breakfast was very basic. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was slow at times. Ideal location for a stay in the Cotswolds."

"Great breakfast Bathroom could do with a lick of paint"

"This was our second stay at The Slaughters Inn. Such a lovely place with a beautiful atmosphere and a delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again!"

"Rooms were clean n bed was comfortable. They cater to us hikers."

"Great pub with fab food. Lovely accommodation block with nice size rooms and facilities. Only down side for us would be beds are very hard, otherwise enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel and rooms were truly. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay except there was no cold water in the taps. The team wasn't able to resolve this but were generous enough to offer 10% discount on the inconvenience caused."

"Nice location and property"

"A lovely place to stay in a typical Cotswolds village… if you are looking for a base to venture around this ideal… a small car park vs the size of the venue to be prepared to leave your vehicle on the road..lots of walks available on the door step and then nothing better to return after a days walk than a pint in front of the open fires"

"Fantastic stay in the cottage - immaculately presented room with loads of space and a very nice selection of snacks. The staff in the Inn were incredibly welcoming and made for a totally relaxed break. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough"

"Very spacious and clean room and great location"

"Room was lovely and spacious. Only downside was the bed was uncomfortable , the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were way too soft to have a good sleep . Location was great to get to the farmers dog (10 mins in a taxi)"
