"Nothing special but clean and comfortable"

"The hotel wasn’t perfect, but we had a quiet time during our long weekend in the Leesburg area. The hotel was a quick drive from everything that we wanted to see and eat. The room was comfortable, which was the most important. The pool area was good. The cleanliness of the halls was oddly off. The free breakfast was skippable. There are so many good places to eat nearby, you should definitely skip the hotel breakfast."

"It's a Red Roof, so I don't expect frills. Room was clean. The AC unit in our room kept cool but didn't seem to pull the humidity out. Fridge was handy, the breakfast very limited. Only gripe I have really is the center door, which is supposed to be secure, was not operational. So anyone could gain access to the building."

"We often travel to this area, and our kids say this is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. I loved how generous they were with the complementary, bottled water, coffee anytime, and Metro maps. The kids loved the spaciousness of our room and the pool. We all loved the hot tub, too. I am sure we will be back."

"Place was fine , room temp was nice etc but it’s under renovation so it’s rough in areas"

"My daughter and I stayed at Landdown resort for 2 nights. We used the pools and ate in 2 of the restaurants. Coton and Rye was hit and miss. Our first meal was great, but the second dinner was not. To be fair, tbe resrt did comp my meal and I was grateful. The pools were adequate, but could do with some upgrading."

"We checked in with a request for a quiet room as we have a big event the next day. When we checked in we don't feel noise from the sky although it's close to Dulles airport. However, it turns out that the sound insulation is very poor. At night both of us were awakened by big noises next door. I can clearly hear all the talks of our neighbors and the noise from their activities. It's as if all of us are living in one big room. I think there's serious construction deficiencies in this hotel....

"We booked a room with one king bed and got one with two doubles instead. We were just passing through for the night, so it was fine. Carpet felt kind of sticky."

"Perfect family location – beautiful area to walk around! We had a wonderful family stay here. The location is incredibly convenient: close enough to the city to enjoy everything, but in a spot that feels relaxed. What we loved most was how beautiful and pleasant the area is for a family walk. Having shops, restaurants, and lovely streets to stroll around just minutes away made our trip so much more enjoyable and stress-free."
