"Claims of being a 5 star hotel are absurd. The toilet in our room did not work properly. Had to play around with the mechanism in the toilet tank to get it to flush. Do not order the breakfast pastries. They were stale at least a two days old. The rooms need updating, especially the bathrooms. If you enjoy standing in light rain storm, you’ll like the lousy shower. Parking, $62 day, WiFi is not complimentary. You can get free parking and WiFi at a holiday inn…"

"The front desk staff was surly and rude. They put me in a single bed room despite being booked in a double. They did not mention this upon check in. found out when i went to the room. They said the fold out couch was the second bed. That is NOT what i booked. They also dod not provide linens for the foldout until we called for them, which kept us awake waiting for the linens. When i went to complain they did not apologize they became argumentative and rude. They also did not mention a hold on my card (they should have mentioned it at least. I thought it was fraud). The valet refused to park my car despite me having mobility issues. I had to carry my suitcases from the parking lot. Lastly they had a large group present and were not keeping access to the elevators, allowing people to pass in the hallways, etc., and no one was monitoring this or asking them to keep the walkways open."

"I am writing to formally report a service failure during my recent stay. Housekeeping services were requested multiple times (at least four occasions) but were not completed. This issue was escalated to the on-site manager, who acknowledged that the failure was the hotel’s fault and apologized; however, no resolution was provided due to the reservation being made through a third party. This experience fell significantly below the standards expected of your brand, particularly regarding basic room maintenance and responsiveness to guest requests. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate compensation be considered and credited back to my original form of payment. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding the outcome of this review. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

"Check-in was at 3 pm. The room we booked supposedly was saying it wasn't finished being cleaned. The front desk clerk offered us a different room, but we specifically booked this room for a reason. After the third time, I asked the front clerk if our room was ready (50 minutes after check-in, 3:50 pm). They then checked the room themselves and saw that it was cleaned. Our room very likely could have been ready the entire time, but there was a miscommunication between the cleaning staff and the front desk. If check-out is 12 pm, and check-in is 3 pm, there should be enough staff to flip the rooms, or either check-out needs to be earlier, or check-in needs to be later."
