"Our first stop off as part of a month in Kefalonia. Faro Del Porto had everything g we needed but a special mention for the view from our room, it was superb. The welcome was lovely and we have every intention of returning next year. We loved Poros, an area we haven’t previously stayed in tending to stay in the north of the island. "No one at front desk—a man arrived but did not speak English; we thought he was a guest but he called someone on his cell phone and handed it to me—a woman spoke with me briefly and then the man showed us to our room. Old refrigerator; door did not close, freezer was full of frost. Very few patrons; good because cheap hollow core doors shut very loudly and marble floors very noisy. We could hear two people arguing on higher floor. 3 min walk to nice beach with an attendant bringing drinks. ...

"This is a great property, well cared for and run. The pool was clean and the kids loved their time here. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be to make the kitchen utensils etc a little better stocked. Five stars all around - really good value. "
