"I had a very good stay at this motel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast had many good options like omelets, waffles, oatmeal with different toppings, and more. Everything tasted fresh and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again😊"

"The room was very clean, looked like they had been doing updates on hotel. My only complaint/suggestions as an older person would be nice to have a safety bar for stepping in and out of the tub. Also it's difficult getting in and out of the building with hands full and have to pull the doors open. These are not things that would stop me from staying there again."

"The new owners are doing a lot of great work to refurbish and refresh the property. The hotel itself is very quiet. Staff and guests are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are recently renovated and nicely appointed. There is a nice indoor pool and a little gym, although we did not use them. Breakfast is fresh every day and a good selection. The coffee is also good and enjoyable. Location is convenient to shopping and some dining options, as well as close to get to the city of Decatur for other dining and entertainment. We are very likely to return here for future stays."

"Apparently the name changed between the. booking and they stay. Communication would have been nice, no one answered the phone to verify so we had to go out of our way to stop there to verify. Had we known how run down the rooms were, we would have paid a little more to stay at a nicer place. Cost/budget friendly with nice staff."

"I have stayed here lots of times, but this time it was a little different. I was in a room where the carpet was worn out and there was a place in the floor the sunk down if you stepped on it. We were on the 2nd floor, so that was scary. I did tell two different people at the front desk about it. .All in all it is a nice hotel, it just needs some upgrading."

"Absolutely wonderful, secluded little place to stay! I was a little worried with it being right next to Lowe’s, but I hardly noticed at all! And to be honest I didn’t even know there was a hotel back there! Surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect little hidden getaway! Building was well maintained and super clean, very very quiet inside, lovely gas fire out on the patio. All in all an excellent stay!"

"Lighting in the lobby was dim, entry doors smokey and key card didn't work after hours for those doors. Staff were not visible at front desk, had to ring a bell several times for service. Door to room was not aligned properly, had to forcefully close with weight of body. A lot of traffic from other guests, some shady looking characters. Front desk staff accused my young adult sons of not having a room, even threatening to call law enforcement for them sitting in breakfast area, causing me to come down to verify our room; initially the staff insisted no one was occupying that room. It was eventually cleared about but the staff were not welcoming and stereotyped my sons. Although the room was clean, there was an unidentified bug observed on the wall. We were there 2 nights for a memorial for my father, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room; but I would not book this hotel again."
