Needs Improvement

We booked a king room only to arive and be told that all they had was two single beds, after being moved three times we finally got a king room. The shower did not work and we had to take a bath both days of our stay. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. We only received the very most basic of cable services, and the air conditioner/heater was so noisy it woke us up al night long every time it would turn on. Our room was clean but other than that we were very unhappy with our stay.

Great place!

King bed was not available during booking. Hotel went above and beyond to fix this. Pool and outdoor hot tub was great. Lot of closet space in rooms. Bar was smaller than anticipated, but outdoor deck was perfect. I would definatly stay here again.

Fair hotel for the money

The room was clean and comfortable, lots of room to streach out. The pool area was well kept and protected from the street. The pool is bigger than most hotel pools! very nice. Teh contential breakfast was not what I expected. a few beverages, one type of pastry, and canned fruit. Not what many other hotels offer.

Not what it appears!!!!

Not a three star hotel,air condtioner was not on and when we turned it on, it was so loud you could not sleep. Beds were hard and the bath room was not as attractive as it could/should be for a 3 star rating. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Too noisy to sleep

You know you've got a noisy location when you have to turn on the old extremely noisy air conditioner to cover up the noise from the street enough to sleep. The location was bad, the rooms were shoddy and it was noisy. There's not much to recommend the hotel. The online description of the location as "Downtown/Central" is incredibly misleading. A better description is "Not close to anything interesting"

It's a four star hotel to me!

The hotel is very beautiful, its close to the Gateway mall by a few blocks of which is good walking distance especially in the rain, Its very close to Subway, Amigos and Arby's, the hotel saloon / bar has good service although it can be quiet which is good,the guests usuallly keeps to themselves just like the hotel workers keep to themselves of which is neither a good or a bad thing. That overall I didn't really have any problems with my stay there except I thought the bed was to hard to sleep in, but if your really drunk it probaley wouldn't make much of a difference. So if I were to rate it by stars I would rate it as a 4 star hotel.

Would not stay again

I picked this room because it was one of the higher ratings in the area and they had a great internet special. The hotel worked for my needs, but I was not impressed with the hotel. The staff was friendly, there was hot water and the TV worked. The bathroom tub had a sticker over the bottom for some reason that was peeling up. I'm not much of a clean freak, but it didn't seem to be the cleanest of places. Also, the outdoor entrance to the rooms allowed the noise of all the activities of the other hotel guests to enter. I cancelled my second night and drove home ahead of schedule. My biggest complaint is not so much the quality of the room - but my expectation that a 3-start would be better than this was.

Fine for the Price

As good as one could expect for the price. Clean. Very conveniently located. I'll stay again, particularly in the summer once the outdoor pool and jacuzzi are open.

Pretty nice

The room was nice and big, with internet hook ups available, bathroom tub left a lot to be desired. The breakfast didn't really count as breakfast, friut coctail and juice. Plus the pool was empty, but over all a nice clean place.

Needs Improvement

The location is very convenient, located off "O" Street and close to shopping, hospital, and just a short drive to downtown. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. There were dead, swatted flies stuck to the wall. The bathtub was dirty, there were dirty handprints on the walls and door, the sheets were dingy and yellowed, floor was not clean. No alarm clock, no hair dryer.

Yuck

The pool was drained, the hotel help was exceptionally unhelpful, the bed was hard, the blankets were thin... not a satisfactory experience by any stretch of the imagination.

Get your money back

Check in was excellent, around 4:00pm (I have stayed at this motel 40 plus times and never had a bad stay), had a business meeting to attend that night and returned at 10:30, went to the restauarant/lounge and had a very good steak, spent $50.00w/tip. Went back to the room and found that the air conditioner did not work great. Did not sleep at all, got up around 4:00 in the morning and decided to take a shower, climbed into the shower and there was no shower head, needless to say I did not take a shower. I called the Motel Mgr. the next day and she told me that they would get back to me ASAP that day, needless to say they have not returned my call. Poor communications! This is the first complaint that I have ever had with any motel that I stay at, and I am out 60-70 nights a year. Have someone contact me.

our first room was next to some construction workers and they partyed until 3 AM. This part of the motel had no high speed internet connection available.

Unsanitary

1.Entire bath tub floor was stained with what appears to be dirt. It may have been cleaned but staining was prominant. 2.Soap dish cavity in the bath tub actually contained smears of black scum. 3.Tissue box contained approximately 90% rust. My sister and I had to actually to go to my family's house to shower during the duration of our stay. We could not take one shower in this hotel. 4.Pillows were of the cheapest grade. Bundled while I slept. Very uncomfortable. 5.There was no remote control for the TV. 6.Iron surface was covered with burnt material. Could not use. 7.Continental breakfast: juices, water, fresh fruit, and croissants, not much to be desired. I've had much better continental breakfasts. Maybe, my view is from a unsanitary perspective. 8.I was not at all satisfied with my stay. Would not recommend for any purpose.

Needs to be updated

Our hotel room seemed that it needed some updating. The bathroom fixtures were rusty and the soap dish had paint peeling off. The mirrored wall dates back to the 1970's!!!

No way a 3 star

Very uncomfortable beds, I actually move to a second room with no better sleeping result. Internet serice was not satisfactory via wireless or direct ethernet connection.

No Way This is Three Stars

Hotel is fine - for Two Stars maybe. Booked specifically because of Three Star rating and it is NOT. Hotel is clean, but older. The hotel is also very reluctant to use the shuttle evene though they are inconveniently located. You can pay the same amount and be more central located in Lincoln. I would not recommend staying here.

nice trees

they have good landscaping they have large mirrors all over the room the room felt very private as the door in/out was into a courtyard,, not a hallway with people walking by all night ect., etc., the room wasn't into 100% new condition, some small repairs were needed to a doorway sill and the ajoining carpet in the room that my wife and I stayed in,, but overall very nice.

The hotel pictures on the website show a much nicer facility than what is there. The hotel was run down and in poor shape.
