"It is an old building, so there is a mild but bad smell just outside the restaurant. Maybe natural gas? I don't know what it is but it has always had the small and I have stayed here intermittently starting about 10 years ago."

"C’est la 2e fois que je loge au Chicago Gateway Hostel et je n’hésiterais pas à y retourner encore. L’endroit est très bien situé avec du transport en commun à proximité. "

"It is definitley an older building. Elevator is small. But the employees are very nice, friendly and ready to help with any questions you may have. Whether it is directions or a good place to eat. The rooms and common areas are clean. They over stock the mini fridge. There is no room for personal stuff in the fridge. Overall, I would give it a 9 out of 10."
