"Stay here many times, love it everytime. Great spacious rooms, great location, always great service, I will always stay here. Oh and some amazing views from the top floor rooms. I was on level 10, could see everything from up there, even watching the planes come down to land at the Christchurch Airport. Thanks team, keep up the good work."

"An exposed wire on the electrical cord for the in house coffee making machine was not noticed by cleaning staff but we saw it immediately when wanting to make a coffee, but luckily, the whole coffee making machine was quickly replaced by management. The toilet seat was misaligned to almost being broken in the Peacock suite. The bathroom shower leaked at the door with water making both the bathrooms floor mat sodden, and also a potential slip on the wet tiles."

"From the moment I arrived, until my departure, everything was perfect. This is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, friendly staff and close to everything in the city. Its proximity to the park also makes it a tranquil and beautiful retreat. A wonderful hotel!!"

"Parking tight as motel was full. Close to casino and town. TV options poor. Says SKY but very limited. Staff noisy around 7:30am. No consideration if you want a sleep in. "

"We had a lovely stay at Carnmore Hotel. Even though it was a last-minute booking and we only stayed for one night, the host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They kindly upgraded us to a downstairs room at no extra cost after finding out my dad has difficulty with stairs, which we really appreciated. It was such a thoughtful gesture.
