Antonio was very nice to accommodate check in after our original flight was cancelled. The location is perfect as far as convenience to restaurants/bars (breakfast and dinner walking distance) as well as having the tram 28 right in front that takes you into the downtown area/stores (tad but noisy but did not disrupt sleep at all).. Yes there's stairs and hills to go up/down but my mom who has some knee joint issues was able to do with breaks. Despite 1 little hiccup, which was communicated with host, I would 100% book here again.

The property is right in the middle of Alfama which makes it beautiful, but incredibly hilly. Tram 28 runs right outside and it goes throughout the night and can get quite noisy - I sleep with earplugs and they did the job! Aside from the tram, it’s a nice and quiet neighborhood with great restaurants and shops nearby with incredibly kind workers.

The apartment was bright with lots of daylight, and clean. Antonio met us at the door and gave us lots of tips about restaurants and things to see. The bed was comfy! The location is excellent! Walking distance to many sights! Tram 28 is right outside the door. So much fun!

The room was very clean and spacious and artfully apointed and the view was amazing. Being in the Alfama district of Alfama was magical. It was also conveniently located to lots of small restaurants and shops, including a small grocer within a block and a lovely cafe just steps away.

I would book again! Nice and comfortable!

The communication from the host and co-host was excellent! The apartment was very comfortable, also quite nice and the location was perfect placing us immediately into the action. The check-in instructions were very helpful and accurate In addition we were given tips about the local restaurants, night life and entertainment from the co-host Luisa who was very kind and friendly! We communicated about the area with questions throughout our 4 days stay. I would stay there again!
