Our family of five (with children aged 11, 8, and 6) had a wonderful stay at Casas da Baixa - Unique Chiado. The spacious two-bedroom apartment, complete with three bathrooms and a comfortable living/kitchen area, was perfect for us. We appreciated the thoughtful touches, from ample towels to kitchen linens. The communication was excellent, and the location couldn't be better – everything was within easy walking distance. Thank you for a fantastic city break in Lisbon!

Excellent location. Beautifully renovated. Sound insulation and central heating superb. Spacious. Only drawback - the beds were not very comfortable.

The apartment is comfortable and clean. Check in/out was easy. The access to the apartment is with a lockbox. The code was provided well in advance. The host was very kind and accomodative to our needs.

Apartments are modern and clean. You are in the center of Lisbon with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and transportation. It has a full kitchen, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and washer/dryer. I would say the only issue with this property is the lack of communication. There is no front desk and everything has to be through Expedia messaging. That is alright with us, but the speed of messages takes awhile. They take minimum of 24 hours to respond to anything. For example, we asked for a late check out. They told us the request had to be made the day of check out. We did that early that day. Never got a response. Other than communication, everything else about this stay was perfect.

Arrived at the property but was not informed of air conditioner not working - apparently for the whole building. Apparently they were helping other customers in the building relocate but we heard nothing. Zip. No communications till late in the evening, and were not given much choice in a short notice of time (the customer office had to log off at 8pm and we were officially informed at around 7:40pm). Stayed for the night and was promised that an update will be provided the next morning by 9-10am. No dice. After much chasing during the day, decided to move out. Had to get Expedia to intervene and Expedia had done a way better job than the company itself. My experience with the company is that they are not acting conscionably, to the extent of taking advantage (or getting away with murder) because as a visitor I had limited choices and path to recourse. Even after the cancellation of two nights, paid city taxes were promised to be refunded, but took about a month to be processed because "our system was down" (and you've guessed it after my relentless follow up and chasing). Will avoid this mob and check other listing that are run by them (was told that they are a big company that runs many hotels/accommodation in the Lisbon area). Have decided to write this review for other people's benefit. Book at your own risk.

Amazing central location of Lisbon. The apartment itself is very modern but still cozy. The windows over looking the street are gorgeous!

The room was spacious and very clean! The location was great with lots of great stores and restaurants nearby as well as multiple metro stations. The hotel was also very communicative despite there being no front reception desk. I would definitely stay here again!

Horrible experience getting key codes

Less than 24 hours before we were due to arrive we still did not have the entry codes. Communications had been very slow and unhelpful, then stopped altogether It took Hotels.com intervention to get them to send codes The whole process was very stressful and took time when we should have been enjoying ourselves. Their communications were poorly written, confusing and the links did not work. Could have been easily sorted out by one human who responded to my questions. Instead we had a series of standard emails that basically just repeated the threat that if we did not do everything requested we would not get the codes. Apartment OK but a bit dingy and noisy, especially om Fri night

Excellente hébergement, grand, bien situé et propre. Il a tout pour un séjour simple et plaisant. La seule désavantage est le bruit provenant du resto-bar au rez de chaussée, la nuit.

Pros: Great location. Just 2 minutes from a metro station. A lots of restaurants around it. Close to many attractions. A beautiful and clean apartment. Cons: Slow Wi-Fi, timeliness of communication from the property manager needs improvement. No coffee, creamer or condiments. There is a construction going on in the next building, which did not bother us because we were out during the day. In summary Pros outweighed cons, so we enjoyed our stay.

Love our stay.

The best hotel stay I have experienced. Elegant and very stylish apartment with high heilings. It's located in the center of the old town, close to all major touristic attractions. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, there are two and half bathrooms. The apartment is so new, luxurious, impeccably clean. We love it so much. We were allowed to a late check out at 1pm instead of 11am.

Genial apartamento

El apartamento esta en excelentes condiciones y con muy buena ubicacion! Suficientes camas para todos los huespedes que eramos y es muy comodo que haya 2 baños y medio. El unico punto negativo es que habia una construccion al lado y hacian mucho ruido desde muy temprano, creemos que el host nos tendria que haber avisado sobre esta situacion.

Absolutely Fabulous!

Absolutely fabulous. Super clean and pretty cool and in the best location in Lisboa with everything on your doorstep and 3 mins to the ocean. Top notch. I normally stay in the best hotel I can find. This was much much better. Book! Such nice helpful people too. ❤️❤️
