We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was at a great location and very walkable to many sites and restaurants. It's also a perfect place to stay if you want to arrive a day or two before your cruise and explore Lisbon, since the cruise terminal is across the street. Our room was large and very clean. We loved it here!

If you don't pick this hotel to stay you are missing out on the best hotel in the historical area in Lisbon walkong distance to everything. the rooms are immaculate, all the staff are super helpful and great people, we will definitely stay again, by the way breakfast is a must! 😃

Lovely property and the museum gives it a unique edge. Breakfasts were delicious - the hot chocolate is fabulous - and the dining room staff were particularly lovely. We had some confusion on arrival about the twin room we'd booked, which caused some concern and delay, but it was resolved after an hour or so. Close to the river and lots of the city centre amenities.

Very good stay overall. Not only the room was clean, but the entire hotel was spotless, with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful but professional at the same time. The location in Alfama might be less convenient for some since it’s farther from Chiado and Bairro Alto, but for me it was a plus — quieter and less crowded. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would consider staying here again.

Great location and the history of the building itself was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wish there was a bar area to sit at and meet other travelers, but they did have a small bar set up in the lobby and there are comfortable areas to sit at. They are able to help you with tour information. The breakfast is amazing!

We had a fantastic stay at Aurea Museum Hotel in Lisbon. The location is unbeatable! right in the heart of the city and perfect for exploring all the main sights. The staff were excellent: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety, making it a wonderful start to each day.
