Outdated room and hallways, it resembles a cruise line room and not a four star hotel. The reception staff was not welcoming. No greeting, Manuela just asked for our passports and city fees. The bed was comfortable but the room had a strong odor of carpet cleaner. Only two electrical outlets available and the list can go on.
After the initial review for check-in by Expedia, we were offered an upgrade at 6:18pm the following day. When I asked why, Alex said in a harsh and loud tone in the lobby “didn’t you complain? That’s why.” Totally out of line and inappropriate behavior by the hotel staff.
When leaving the last day as we were returning our key a young woman ask “was everything okay?” Obviously, they had no interest in the feedback given. The employees need to be trained in quality customer service if they want to keep customers coming back. Personally and based on my experience, we won’t be returning.
