Great hotel! We quite enjoyed our stay. Loved the bottle of water daily, the breakfast buffet had lots of options. Very nice hotel and would stay again!
My husband and I loved this hotel!! Staff were very helpful, rooms were well appointed, breakfast was great. The location is perfect to both walking and public transportation to all of Lisbon’s sights. I highly recommend the Hotel da Baixa.
This is a charming little hotel right in the heart of Lisbon. The location is fabulous….so much is in walking distance, including the outdoor elevators that go to the higher parts of the city. The hotel itself is delightful and the staff is very helpful. If I return to Lisbon, this will definitely be where I stay. The hotel offers a free walking tour around that Baixa district….don't miss it. Its better than than the ones you can pay for and ends with a glass of spumante.
The staff at the hotel are simply amazing.Pedro was so helpful and kind. He made our stay so enjoyable with all of his information about the area. His tour was great!
We had an issue with the a/c the first night that resulted in a credit, which was appreciated. Complimentary coffee, and juice in the lobby was a nice touch. Very comfortable beds, and pillows. Happy we stayed there.
This hotel is managed by wonderful and caring staff. The location is ideal and extremely convenient. The breakfast was excellent. My only concern is that the room we stayed at was very small for two people.
The service was amazing. You can’t beat the location of hotel. Best breakfast buffet!
Front desk deserves a special call out, they were so helpful and kind.
Superb hotel in excellent location! Staff were all lovely, friendly, and helpful. Enjoyed the complimentary snacks and juice in the lobby. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom is full of marble, nice toiletries. Hotel is steps away from major tourist attractions, shops, cafes, excellent coffee and brunch place across the street, donut shop next door, pharmacy steps away, They have a nice library area in hotel for quiet reading/ rest if you come early and your room isn’t ready. The bar has great cocktails and the young bartender was fun to talk to (brown hair, glasses), had some good recommendations for things to see and do. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Lovely hotel and very well appointed room. Staff were welcoming and breakfast good. Well located, but be aware Ubers can’t access the road directly outside the hotel. We had a superior room with city view and balcony. Whilst the room was lovely, a view of the building opposite and a balcony you can only stand on was not my idea of what this would entail! Haven’t seen the other rooms by comparison but not sure it was worth the extra money for what it provided.
Would stay at this hotel again. It’s clean and the rooms are a decent size. Most importantly the location is great as it sits in the heart of the touristy area of Lisbon.
Only thing is the street where the hotel is cars are not allowed and it’s only the train track and pedestrians and bicycles so if you need to catch a car like uber or taxi you would need to walk a few minutes up to the intersection to catch a ride.
