Location is great, very central, close to all the attractions, 3 minutes walk to time out market. The check in and check out process are quick. The staff are generally helpful. The breakfast is lovely but slightly lack of variation. There is a lift to the room which is great for people with mobility issues. However, the room itself is rather small without much amenities- no table or chair at all to sit, no basin inside the bathroom, poor lighting in the toilet ( only very small light in the bathroom) . As mentioned by others, you will have to climb the bed to go to the toilet. Also both my mother and I have very itchy skin after spending the night. The room is rather smelly too.

We traveled with our adult daughter and her boyfriend and rented two rooms on two separate stays. Daughter stated that the rooms were clean however their room was very small and did not have any kind of closet space. On our first stay, there was no access to balconies except by walking over wooden bed frame which enveloped whole bed. On way back from balcony I fell hitting my head and bruising upper arm. Husband’s side of bed was chosen after this incident. On our second stay we arrived late from Porto and were upgraded to penthouse which was on a different floor from the rest of our party. No big deal but going from room to room was difficult for them as the elevators can only be used for floor you are staying on or lower. On one occasion I went down to their floor to borrow something and didn’t use my room key to go back up and was momentarily left in darkness. Penthouse room was SPACIOUS compared to regular rooms but was very warm/hot and AC didn’t seem to work well. Ours was a handicap room which had no overhead rain shower head and shower was not completely enclosed therefore ramp and floor would get wet and ramp became very slippery. Bathroom also smelled like sewer gas at times. Automatic fragrance spray in bathroom but there were times when smell was annoying. I consider these minor annoyances as we were often gone all day and used loft area to cool down (AC worked great there). Location was great for us first time visitors to Portugal.

Quaint boutique hotel. Attentive front desk staff on checking in/out and questions on car rentals and an issue we had w/ a leak in roof in shower. Cleaning staff always on task in freshening the room and lobby area. Great central location w/ restaurants/bars and shopping nearby. Returning after a quick trip to Porto and Braga and sure our stay will be just as positive

Breakfast was great. Continental but you could order things like scrambled eggs and bacon although sadly not English bacon. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Hotel very central. I asked for a quiet room and was put into the stairway (essentially a cubicle carved out in the stairway and used as a room), where it was cold and dingy. The bed was attached to the floor, and navigating the space was awkward, even to reach the balcony required some sort of gymnastics exercise. I’m not sure what this is, but definitely not a standard double room in a 3 or 4 star hotel.

A equipe do hotel é muito simpática. As acomodações dos quartos passam a imagem de conceito despojado, mas não achamos muito prático, mais com cara de hostel do que hotel. A localização é no miolo da agitação, o que retira um pouco do sossego, mas é muito boa para quem quer curtir a região do Chiado e Cais do Sodré, com suas lojas e restaurantes todos muito próximos.
