Originally, we were checked in into two rooms with out of order air conditioners. We were not informed of this and were expected to spend two nights in these rooms. When I protested because this was unacceptable the front desk clerk responded this was common in Lisboa and we could open the windows and that there was nothing he could do. After sometime claiming we should have been informed of the out of order air conditioners in our two rooms, the front desk person offered one room with a functioning ac with the condition we had to move back to the room without ac the next day. I asked to speak to a manager and was informed there was non on duty at 7 pm on the evening, that we needed to wait until the morning to speak to one. The next morning, Carlos (manager) was very apologetic about the situation. He reassigned both rooms to better ones with functioning ac. This made the second night much better. Must mention the breakfast buffett was excellent with great selection and good food. The coffee was great!
