After a long and exhausting day of driving, I realized that I had mistakenly booked my reservation for Saturday to Sunday instead of Sunday to Monday. This was an honest mistake, as it was impossible for me to arrive in time — I still had 2,800 km left to drive, which meant I was three days away from reaching the hotel.
As soon as I noticed the error, I immediately called the hotel to try to correct it, but no one answered. I then contacted Expedia’s support team, and even they were unable to get any response from the VIP Executive Arts Hotel. I also sent a direct message to the hotel through the Expedia chat, but again, I received no reply.
In the end, the hotel kept my money and provided no explanation or assistance — not even a simple message acknowledging the situation. I’m truly disappointed to have lost $106 for a stay that was still three days away. This experience reflects very poorly on the hotel’s customer service, and I sincerely hope they learn to be more empathetic and responsive to tired travelers in the future.
