"On arrival, we didnt realise there was an older wing and a newer wing. We were in the older wing and the lifts do not go up to the 2nd floor in the older part of the hotel where our room was located and so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our rooms. The walk was very higgly piggly and I did some damage to my back carrying the suitcases upstairs. As a senior, it would have been nice if help was provided with our luggage. When we checked out we asked for someone to take our luggage...

"We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday) and overall the stay was good! The room was lovely, well presented, clean (needed a few touch ups but nothing major) and comfortable. The female members of staff we spoke to were very helpful. Unfortunately, the Saturday night is the reason I’m not giving more stars. I understand it’s a pub so there will be noise to a degree, but there was loud talking and music until gone midnight and it was very frustrating. I had ear plugs in but could still hear it...
