Nice room very clean only minus points were the soft bed which is my opinion and the great shower but poor water pressure. All else was great for the money.

We had a nice room (#1) at the front - more spacious than others and worth the premium IMO. Only comment is that the room faces the street and can be noisy when bar patrons are going home.

Awesome staff. Gerald greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Very personable, wonderful server. Jude went out of his way to help us figure out the bus to Stratford, and even walked with us to the bus stop. There was a slight misunderstanding as to whether we had breakfast included, and Chiara handled it with extreme graciousness. Easy parking, fantastic room, and top notch food. My husband in particular liked the wood fired pizza. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The pigeons on the centre roof should be cleaned away along with all the pigeon droppings and a net installed. Not a very appealing sight.

Lovely hotel, we stayed in the suite which was bigger than expected. Parking at the back is great, the pub is great. Food downstairs was 7/10, breakfast was better than the evening meals. Staff are all lovely, we would stay again.

Lovely friendly Hotel. The room was great with fresh coffee and real milk in the room . Only thing we stayed during a heatwave . The hotel is in an old building so no air conditioning. A fan was provided and the hotel can’t be held responsible for the extreme heat. We would definitely recommend and will be back

The Hotel is very well presented and has a great central location. We had a petite room but it was big enough, and the en-suite and shower were impressive. Little touches like a hand made cookie from the kitchen, along with a little bottle of milk for tea and coffee, made it feel special, along with a specialty coffee pod machine. The food was excellent and generous in portions and the real ales didn’t disappoint. The bedroom could do with a bit of a touch up, but that’s being a bit picky However, what really made our stay perfect, was the staff, from the Manager, bar staff, waiting staff and reception, they were all amazing and very knowledgeable about the area, so well done.

Stayed for 4 nights while we travelled around the Cotswolds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the George townhouse! Room service provided daily with fresh towels and bedding. Provided shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc which was of good quality. Very quiet overnight and private parking! Definitely would recommend

The staff were great, the place is getting a bit tired, housekeeping is pretty abysmal, dirty towels were re hung, bins were not emptied, and the beds were not made.. had housekeeping not been so poor I would have given the place a much higher score..
