"It was a great stay"

"The room was not the room I booked. It was supposed to be a queen suite with a pull out sofa bed. It turned out to be a double bed with a couch. The room was dirty and the bathroom had damage to the wall. We cancelled the reservation at the desk. "

"Staff at the front desk were pleasant. Hallway filled w/a musky smell and sheets. Once in our room we were blinded by the outdoor light that shown directly in and SHOCKED to find what appeared to be drug residue(allegedly.) We work in the music & service industries so when we saw what resembled to be drug particles we immediately went back to the lobby to notify the manager. "Great Metairie location - very convenient. Very nice and clean, but needs more interior design finishes (art on the wall, a rug or two, more pillows on the bed, a couple throw pillows on the couch, etc)."

They also gave us a raw French toast alongside that the hotel hallway and elevator had a strange smell. During our entire stay there we never got our room cleaned, even though we had the sign on for them to clean it. "We booked this hotel late in the evening after a day of delayed flights and our original accommodations elsewhere were bust. The staff was wonderful. Lobby, hallways, vending area, elevators etc were all very well lit, organized and inviting. Room was clean and the bed and linens were extremely comfy. Since we checked in close to midnight we asked if there was any possibility of a late check out and we were accommodated far more than expected. We will hands down book this hotel next time we are...

"Hotel is undergoing renovation; the room was clean and comfortable. Television worked for 15 minutes after I retrieved a missing remote control from the front desk; WIFI worked; pool was closed (construction). All services were provided from staff including transportation to the airport at 3am with professional courtesy and quick solution. It will be interesting to see the changes the next time I visit."

"I can't say that we liked the property. Wasn't told that they were in the process of remodeling. Job materials scattered throughput the front lobby area. as well as the workers were using the luggage carts to carry their materials leaving one cart to bring in and out our luggage. Not to mention the cart had a flat tire. Along with that our shower leaked reported it to the front desk on Saturday morning as leaving t for a funeral. "The lady at front desk was so rude. She also gave me a card key for a room with a man in it! Scary. When I went back down and told she basically told me to be quiet! When I asked for the manager she did not. The managers name was on the wall but she gave another name. Lier. I wrote that manager and now I know why this hotel is a disaster. If there’s no food, they will sit there and watch you eat. Nobody tells them anything Kitchen staff member complain the whole time about restocking items. I think she purposed my tretocjer the paper goods etc f to avoid restocking hot food....
