This hotel is NOT in New Orleans. The city is listed as New Orleans in the name and as the city on Expedia. It is actually in Harahan. It's not even in Metairie! Getting an Uber from NOLA back was not only costly but nearly impossible. A driver said "nobody wants to go to harahan because they can't make money there." Our last night the driver was on her way home to Metairie which is closer to Nola so she picked up our ride. She said staying Metairie made more sense. Now let's talk about the actual hotel. Had to change rooms 3xs! First room, toilet did not flush at all like the knob just moved up and down. 2nd room must've had a smoker living in there. I dried myself with a towel and it reaked of mildew, I had to re shower in which they said they'd bring up new towels, they did not so I had to air dry. Also the AC didn't work and of course room smelled like a smoker had been living there. We asked them to look at it and they said they'd send someone up in 30 mins. We were there for an hour. No one. We left, came back late that night. Dirty mildew towels still there and broken ac. Thank goodness they had one decent person working there, nia I think was her name. She moved us to our 3rd room. Anyhow, breakfast was supposed to end at 930am, at 845 everything had been cleared. I went to the manager and of course this pissed off the cook so we had to hear that the whole time. I'm so surprised this is a Marriot establishment. More like Mari - rot! Do not stay here. It's a disgrace
