They have clearly tried to make this property nice with repainting and trying to fix things, but the pool is still down and I had to leave early because the bugs were so bad, they were in the bed. When i told the manager he was very apologetic, but didnt offer any compensation for having to leave a day early, due to the bugs. Also, i got a "suite". The only think that made this like a suite, was a small 2 foot partition between the sofa and the bed. The room was still very small and there was no coffee on the room.

Drive thru stay when we could not drive any more.

I want to say the staff was so kind. I feel bad leaving a review like this because they were so nice but people need to be aware. I was driving through on my way back from vacation. This was the only hotel within the area that didn't have reviews saying they have roaches. We'll that was incorrect. They do in fact have roaches! We seen 2 in 8 hours we were there. I was to scared to bring anything in we brought our own pillows and left them, and the area is not the best by no means.. I seen some pretty shady things happening by the mcdonald's. However there is a police station behind the hotel so that is a plus. The pillow the hotel provided looked like it had washed blood stains. There was something dried on the wall, the entire room was gross and broken down. The door looked as if it was kicked in while one of us slept with chair in front of it, the other stayed up to keep watch for bugs or someone trying to brake in. If you can avoid all the hotels in this area it is for the best. I got bites on my legs from something. I didn't dare try the shower so I cant say anything there.

We chose this hotel because it claimed to be newly opened. In reality it is an older property in rather poor condition. Signs placed around the parking lot stating that the business would not be responsible for break/ins of cars or property damage combined with the fact that you have to be buzzed in to the lobby led us to believe that the area was not safe. The safety latch on our door was broken. We ended up using a chair to barricade our door. The room contained a king bed that had clean bedding. The king mattress was very soft and sat on a metal box with extremely squeaky metal springs. Any slight movement created a cacophony of loud squeaks, making sleep difficult. A sofa in the room was torn and filthy with numerous questionable stains. The hinges on the wardrobe were broken and there was trash inside. The drawers on the desk would not close and also had trash in them. The bathroom appeared clean. There are no dining options easily accessible. The fact that the bedding and bathroom were clean is the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. I would not recommend this establishment.
