I stayed at the Springhill Suites in Little Rock AR for 3 nights. On my first night, i woke up to open my blinds and a metal rod from the curtains fall on my head. Upon being struck by the metal rod, I discovered my window was invested with numerous small ants everywhere. I contacted the front desk who informed me they are currently sold out of rooms and there is nothing they can do. I requested to be placed in another room immediately fear that the ants would get in my suitcase and clothing and as I had already booked my 3 nights stay. The front desk told me they would send someone up to take a look. When the guy came to me room he sprayed and wiped the ants but also told me I should be moved out immediately. After speaking with him I called the front desk again, they told me they would have a room ready for me around 1pm.
At this time I’m upset, my head is pounding and I really just want a refund, but because I booked through Expedia which I how I like to book my travel the hotel told me there is nothing they can do for the metal rod falling on my head AT THERE ESTABLISHMENT and my room being INVESTED with ANTS.
I was so shocked by the poor customer service I requested to speak with the manager and I was told they can do nothing either and they wouldn’t be available until Monday. I then requested corporates number where I was given a fake number but eventually found the correct number.
I will be pursuing legal action!
