"My stay at the WoodSpring extended stay hotel located in Gastonia NC was pleasant. I was surprised at how clean it was there was not a bug ( roach ) anywhere to be seen. When I first arrived I could smell cigarette smoke in my bathroom, I don’t usually complain but it became unbearable and it is a smoke free location. I let one of the staff members know and it was no longer an issue. Thank you! There is plenty of parking and it’s quiet. The price is good for having a double bed and kitchen some...

Hence, a tough following day. The room was old yet conveniently located. The reviews were mixed and I took the chance. Bad choice. Not again. I expected more from Marriott!"

"The male desk clerk has the worst attitude. The towels are nasty dingy. The sheets are also dingy and stained. The comforter was the same with white spots on it. Luckily, I travel with linen; sheets and towels. The only saving grace was there were no bugs!"
