"The pros: really good value for money and a very affordable single room - by far the lowest price when I was booking, highly accessible location near the connection of the two main A roads in the area, characterful ancient building with a pub and beer garden on ground floor stocking local ales, quaint village setting and public square to the front, it's not actually on the main road itself so outside noise wasn't too bad with the window open. The downsides: the reception or check-in is not...

"Gorgeous property. We stayed in a superior room which was very spacious, very clean, and with lovely decor. The pub below is great and has a pool table which is nice for the evenings. And great breakfast selection included too. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away."

"I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. "Room was clean, tidy and comfortable, we even had a small courtyard to sit in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Able to park on the street outside. Shops and harbour were in walking distance and there was a golf course opposite. Lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. Would definite stay again and would highly recommend."

"Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. The bathroom windows were in desperate need of repair, and mould cleaner, which may be the reason why there were silverfish in the bathroom. The final straw for...

"This is the 3rd time staying here. Really comfortable place to stay, they allow Dogs and straight outside your door there is a huge field to walk them. The breakfast is continental but I would highly recommend paying for the full English! It’s beautiful. The host is very polite and always very chatty. We will be back again soon. "

"A beautiful 16th century inn, everything is absolutely clean from the rooms to the stairs, the food is nothing out of this world but it was quite good, my Fifi was treated like a Diva. All was fantastic and for the price it's absolutely good value for money, the landlady she's absolutely great in every way and of course she's the heart and soul of the site.
