"First time we’ve stayed here , and being relatively local, visit Newcastle often. The hotel is classy and comfortable, with brilliant staff . A few minutes walk to the Glasshouse and located on the quayside with some great restaurants and bars nearby. Parking was easy with hotel reserved parking at the rear of the hotel. Without a doubt, this will be our first choice for overnighters in Newcastle."

"Always one of our favourites. Staff are always amazing, restaurant and bar are beautifully done and the rooms are so individual to other hotels, they have personality and you feel fully relaxed."

"Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back"

"The welcome staff were really good room was great. The only bad mark for room 23 was that the bath plug didn't seal"

"This a brilliant hotel and could not fault it. The deluxe rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was really good and the items were hot and the area was immaculate with staff clearing away all the time. The location was perfect, very central and I would have no hesitation in staying again at this wonderful hotel. It is definitely a 4 star standard so well done to Maldron hotels"

"Hotel was modern, clean with excellent facilities. Just a couple of pointers. The two rooms our family occupied had not main lights and one had a lamp and the other didn't. Other internal phone didn't work for room service so used hotel's internal WhatsApp to order. Breakfast was excellent and catered for all diets (including vegan and vegetarian)."

"Perhaps because of its location, the environment is not quiet. It seems there is always a party going on outside. If you are the type who gravitate towards crowd, this can fit you well."
